Chocolate Cookie

On most days, we love the Chocolate. Chocolate Cookies are best if they are freshly baked and eaten within the day.

Living in Budapest has given me more opportunities to bake some homemade cakes and cookies. Zsolt loves softer texture of cookies. So he absolutely love pancakes. In Hungary, we make them really thin, and they are called 'palacsinta' (pronounced 'pa-la-chin-ta' :)) For me, i luuuuuuuvvvv cookies, especially chocolate cookies.

Once I made them and included pudding powder, I found the recipe somewhere and it was very delicious!

I guess the secret to a good chocolate cookie is the time you bake it. If you remove it from the oven after five minutes, and let it rest on the baking sheet for about 2-3 minutes, you will get a wonderful texture that is soft in the inside (a little chewy too) and crispy on the outside. What more can you ask for?

2008 Zlatan Otok Vinogorje Hvar Sveta Nedjelja (Croatia, Dalmatian Coast)

Zsolt and I enjoy drinking wine over meals, usually dinner. At most times, we prefer the red wine over the white wine. During the recent trip to Croatia, we were recommended at the Croatian restaurant a 2008 Zlatan Otok Vinogorje Hvar Sveta Nedjelja, from the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia. In a way, we kind of fell in love with this wine. In all honesty, we are no wine connoisseur :) We just enjoy having a glass of wine in the evenings.

In summer, we like ice cold beers. I think I am not a good drinker at all. Two beers can easily get me drunk sometimes :p Being at the Lake Balaton, you can find some interesting Hungarian home-grown wine too. For Hungarian wine, I like the Villány wine, I think it is one of the best Pinot Noir.

The recommended time to visit the Hungarian countryside wine regions for wine tasting is September to October. This is when there are grape harvests and lots of festive programs and events.

Hungary is very lucky to have a favourable climate for quality wine growing. The autumn is quite dry, warm, sunny that is sometimes referred to as the 'Indian Summer'. It has average temperature that is much higher and ideally perfect for growing good wine.

Eye Wear by Zenni

Today I read a news article about savings and value of Zenni Optical. I found this rimless eye wear and I like it a lot. As I go deeper into the online shopping site, I could find amongst the hundreds of frames which marveled me with so many different varieties! There were many others sorted neatly by styles, colours and pattern.

The wonder about this way of choosing my favourite pair of eye wear is the convenience, besides the shipping costs is low (that is at $4 only). It is definitely very important to be able to track your order. And I was happy to see that this has been taken into great care too. No hidden extras and a protective case will be included too. On top of that, you will receive a free anti-scratch coating for that beautiful pair of rimless prescription eyeglasses. Who would be able to imagine that it was so affordable?

From the offers, you can find many $6.95 prescription eyeglasses. Yes, you didn't see it wrongly, only $6.95!! This is such an unbeatable price and yet there are so many different designs to choose from. As most people have a Pupillary Distance (PD) between 54mm to 74mm, it makes ordering your favourite eye wear as easy as ABC. Also there is a frame fit tool on the site to let you compare the glasses you have chosen before you confirm your order. Besides making your eye wear shopping experience such a wonderful one, there are also others who shared their purchase experiences such as this one : Zenni was in the news--journal-news.com

There is nothing wrong with people who are SENSITIVE

After a while, people starts to get cocky and proud. Sad to say this. But because of some achievements, he thinks so greatly about himself and begins to criticize blatantly. I am disgusted by these type of people.

In many ways, you can show your appreciation and gratefulness. To do that with mean words or elevation of himself in email notes is just the lame way of showing authority. You don't gain any returns in this way and seriously, you simply DO NOT.

Respect Sensitive People

Infact, you should have respect for people who are sensitive or even highly sensitive. You absolutely have no rights to criticize because you have no idea what it means. It is an inherited trait.

Writing

A piece of my mind

If what you are about to write is not inspiring, please do not even start!

To be really honest, I detest it when people do not understand the art of writing. Ranging from sarcasm, to hate speech, to me, these are not funny at all. Using words to a level of passing negativity, spreading uninspiring notions do not add value in life nor in the Internet space.

Why don't you just don't write anything if you can't do any constructive or motivational writing?!

The tone of writing is so important but many do not understand the real value of it. It is too late, by the time you want to eat back your own words. What's the use of crying over split milk?

Fairytale-like restaurant in Zagreb: Hansel and Gretel. Ivica I Marica.

Ivica I Marica is the Fairytale-like restaurant in Zagreb, Croatia. They serve Wholemeal and wholegrain, items free from additives, artificial flavoring and preservatives. Sounds good isn't it?

As it is more about attracting the kids, cakes, ice-creams, titbits, pasta and drinks are the usual items! See the witch icon used to appeal to children on the large poster at the entrance.

This colourful roof - you can't miss it if you are walking down the longest Tkalčićeva street of restaurants and cafes. This restaurant serves Continental, Croatian cuisine.

Look out for the number 70. Zagreb 10000, Croatia

Zagreb Croatia

Croatia is a country in Europe that gives us rather good impressions.

Although within the same country, Zagreb is not the same as Hvar. We like Hvar very much, really very much. Zagreb cannot match it but the Upper town has a nice atmosphere.

Other than the farmers' market, the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is one of the sights that you must see. It used to have an original Gothic structure but was destroyed by the Tartar invasion. The mood within the cathedral is also exquisite.

Medvedgrad has a medieval fortress, now there are rebuilt thick walls as well as towers. There is also a small chapel with frescoes and the Shrine. Having a nice stroll up there can be relaxing.

The squares in any european capital cities are not to be missed. In Zagreb, it is the Trg Josip Jelačića which is like a geographic central. It is right below the old city cores Gradec and Kaptol and south of Dolac market. You cannot missed it.

Luvfree

This post brought to you by luvfree. All opinions are 100% mine.

Dating should be free. Most of all, completely free and 100% free.

When you ask someone in Asia about how they meet their other half, most of them will tell you that it is through a matchmaking agency or an extended family member, a friend or relative's introduction. Asians are generally shy and more traditional approaches are used. Times has changed, but this aspect about dating seemed to be the same and has taken a new height in some developed cities.

Nowadays, the dating scene spans across the world with online dating giving out profiles to help you search for your special someone. The convenience about LuvFree is that you can just be yourself and find someone who shares the interests as you.

Be bold, be active.

Wait no more and take the initiative seemed to be the slogan on online dating sites like this. Reading the featured blog posts is interesting too. You read deeper into the feelings and thoughts of the new friends and possible dating partners before stepping into the relationship. This is not a bad way to develop your feelings for each other. You can decide to start from being activity partners, to friendship or directly plunged into seeking a marriage partner. Those who are serious for a relationship, romance, casual, travel partner or even start with being a pen pal. Online dating sites like LuvFree is a 'window', the rest is up to you.

Fisherman's Bastion, Halászbástya

On the Castle Hill in Budapest, you can find this beautiful and atmospheric part of Budapest. This place is called Fisherman's Bastion and it is on the Buda side. I love the neo-Gothic and neo-Romanesque style.

One thing I must mention is, you can see a paranomic view from the terrace when you walk up to the towers. Breathtaking is the best word to describe it.

Besides, if you like statue, there is a bronze statue of Stephen I of Hungary on a horse. It is not as majestic looking as those statues on the Heroes' Square but it is one of the spots you must capture on your camera. Get nearer to the Matthias Church, it has one of the beautiful designs as well, recently reconstructed.
