From Jo étvágyat! to egészségedre!

"Jo étvágyat!" means "Good appetite" while, 'egészségedre!' means "to your health". These are two basic Hungarian interjections. When somebody sneezes, 'egészségedre!' would mean 'bless you'. These are the nice manners of the Hungarian people. At the dinner table, when you want to say 'Cheers!' in Hungarian, it is 'egészségedre!' :) Tweet
